GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS Off & Online English

1. Enrolment Procedure

1.1 When registering, you accept the published “General Terms and Conditions”.
1.2 The registration should be filed online through the form on the website: Off & Online English - Register
1.3 By enrolling at the school, the student commits to following the course.

2. Minimum Age
2.1 The minimum age of admission for adult group courses is 18.

3. Payment
3.1 The entire amount must be paid before the start of the course.
3.2 By paying, the client agrees unreservedly to these General Terms and Conditions. Once payment has been received, the student is entitled to participate in the course.

4. Cancellation
4.1 Withdrawal from a program can be done by e-mail.
4.2 Cancellation policy:

• Cancellation less than 30 days before the first day of the course 50 % of the course fee
• Cancellation less than 7 days before the first day of the course 100 % of the course fee

4.3 There will be no course refunds in the event of a cancellation once the course has begun.
4.4 Course starting dates are fixed. There is no refund for any missed lessons, early termination of a course, or for missing the start of class.
4.5 In the event of an unforeseen serious illness or accident verified by a medical professional, a partial refund for the remainder of the lessons will be granted.

5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 In any event, Off & Online English/Blarney Stone Language Services does not assume any liability or give any refunds for the failure or delayed provision of its service resulting from circumstances beyond its control or force majeure including natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, pandemics, fire, floods, defective functioning, breakdowns or interruptions of on-location services provided by Platform C. This includes any other circumstances not attributable to Off & Online English/Blarney Stone Language Services that prevents the use of its service.

6. Pricing
6.1 For 4 to 5 course participants the course fee is € 320. For 6 or more course participants the course fee is €290.
6.2 Course fees must be paid in full before the first day of the course. The number of course participants on the first evening of the course will determine the final course fee. A €30 refund will be given to course participants who have already paid the €320 fee if the number of course participants has reached 6 or more by the first evening of the course.

7. Lesson materials
7.1 The course fee does not include the price of lesson materials.
7.2 The teacher is not obliged to provide free versions of lesson materials in any form.
7.3 The homework assigned will be corrected by the teacher only during class hours.

8. Holiday schedule
8.1 The annual holidays are listed on the Platform C website: Vacations and days off - Platform C Amstelveen During vacations no classes are held and the front desk is closed.

9. The Amstelveen Pass
9.1 There is no discount on foreign language courses at Platform C. Further information about the Amstelveen Pass can be found on the website of the Municipality of Amstelveen.
